Recipe Organization and a recipe that I don't have a recipe for

So, I got this idea from my mom and I finally put it into action. I have gathered recipes from so many different sources that they don't all fit into a nice little box without folding, etc. So I put all my recipes in page protectors in a binder. I love it!

My biggest section is "Recipes I want to try."

Other sections include: breakfast, entrees, sides/sauces, breads/muffins, desserts. (All of these categories contain recipes I've actually made.)

And yesterday I got to make a HUGE amount of yummy pasta salad for our big mother's day gathering with my mom's family. It is my grandma McCook's signature pasta salad and I've never actually seen a recipe for it...you just do it.

Cook pasta until al dente. Drain, let cool.

Chop whatever veggies you want to add. (I used what my grandma usually uses...olives, cucumber, different colored bell peppers).

Add veggies to cooled noodles.

Add equal parts Italian dressing and ranch dressing until desired consistency.

Enjoy! (I LOVE this and could it it nonstop.)

  1. LOVE the book idea. i have a full drawer and folder full of recipes i've ripped out of this magazine and printed from that website. TOTALLY gonna have to take your idea on that.
