Jamie requested this cake for her bday. My mom used to make it but hasn't in a long time and I've never made it before this weekend. It turned out just like we remembered it and it is so easy to do.
It is basically just a yellow cake with a yummy "filling".
Make cake batter according to instructions on box. Spread into greased 9x13 pan.
Make filling:
Cream the following-
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 C sugar
1 egg
Spread over the top of the cake batter as best you can without "mixing it together". Sprinkle one cup of chocolate chips over entire cake. Bake according to cake mix instructions.
Yummy with vanilla ice cream.
