i had a hard time finding the king size - or larger candy bars. i was at super target and could either buy the 6-pk of the hershey's milk choco or fancy dark chocolate bars for 2.50 each. i'll have to try it again with dark chocolate when i can find the right bars.
K, I'm bringing a dessert to have as refreshments after my bro's Eagle court of honor next Sunday. If I let these cool completely, would they set up nicely? Like well enough to cut up and serve as "bars"? I really want to make these, but don't want too much of a sticky mess...
I made these today for taking to a family in our ward later on and just cut them up to put on a plate. Tried a little bit and...YUMMY! Not too hard to make either! Thanks for the recipe, Amy!
we are sisters sharing recipes, encouraging each other to test out different recipes and try new things. if we can't have each other over for taste testing... at least we can share what we whip up in our own kitchens!
That looks divine! So, it looks like you used milk chocolate instead of dark...good choice? I bet it made it a little richer...mmmmm.
